About Summit Cold Chain

One Freight Category. Done Right.

Summit Cold Chain was built around one freight category: refrigerated truckload transportation.

Our six-truck fleet moves chilled, frozen, produce, food, beverage, and other temperature-sensitive freight using 53 ft reefer trailers and late-model sleeper tractors.

By staying focused on refrigerated freight, the operation can keep its processes, equipment, driver expectations, and customer communication centered on the details that matter most in the cold chain.

How We Operate

Cold-Chain Freight Starts Before the Truck Leaves.

Every load moves through the same focused process — temperature, appointments, and monitoring handled before dispatch and tracked across the lane.

01

Temperature Requirements

Set point and product requirements are confirmed before the load is dispatched.

02

Appointment Discipline

Food and cold-storage freight often depends on tight appointments, so pickup and delivery windows are part of the load review.

03

Reefer-Focused Drivers

Drivers operate equipment and freight profiles centered on refrigerated transportation.

Why Summit Cold Chain

A Carrier That Treats Reefer Freight as the Operation — Not an Add-On.

One Freight Focus

Refrigerated truckload is the entire operation — not a side lane. Every process, hire, and trailer is built around it.

Details Before Dispatch

Set point, product type, loading condition, and appointments are confirmed before a truck moves.

Small-Fleet Access

Customers talk to a dispatch team that knows the trucks, drivers, and loads — no call-center layers.
